Thornwood Hall is is one of six residence halls on the Darlington campus. It houses the residents of Thornwood House, one of three houses for female boarding students.
Thornwood Hall is a tribute to the Thornwood School for Girls, which opened in 1958 and merged with Darlington in 1973 to create the co-educational institution that exists today. Thornwood Hall was named in 2012 by a group of Thornwood alumnae to preserve the legacy of their beloved school through a permanent “home” on the Darlington campus.
