Regester House is one of two houses for female boarding students.
Constructed in 1999-2000, Regester House is named in honor of former faculty member E.V. “Doc” Regester, who came to Darlington in 1958 as head of the English department. Regester served Darlington for 28 years as associate headmaster, English teacher, director of counseling and guidance, and editor of the first alumni publication. He and his wife, Juliana, raised their daughters, Julie and Scotty (’66T), in a house that stood where Regester House is currently located.
