Neville House, one of six residence halls on the Darlington campus, occupies the third floor of Wilcox Hall. Neville is known as an “upperclassmen house.” Once a student completes a year in the first-year boys’ house, Summerbell House, he has the choice of moving to Neville House or Moser House.
Neville House is named in honor of former faculty member W. Gordon Neville (’55), who worked at the Upper School from 1962 until his retirement in 2006. During his tenure, he taught geography, Bible and math; coached football and soccer; and served as resident dean of Wilcox Hall, business manager, dean of students, associate headmaster, and director of the J. Daniel Hanks (’27) Heritage Society.
