Chad Woods

Dean of Studies; Residential Duty Staff

Chad joined the faculty as a math teacher in 2006 and was named dean of studies in 2018. He also serves as master scheduler. Chad holds a B.S. and M.Ed. from the University of West Georgia. His previous roles at Darlington have included math department chair, head baseball coach, head softball coach and head golf coach. Chad and his wife, Lindsay, manager of The DAR Shop, have two children, Ava Ann (’26) and Barrett ('29). They live on campus and he is a member of the Summerbell House duty staff.

Woods named bookstore manager

Lindsay Woods has joined Darlington School as the new bookstore manager in the Business Office. The Cedartown, Ga. native holds a B.B.A. in Marketing from the State University of West Georgia and worked most recently in customer service at Greater Community Bank in Rome.

Darlington announces Commencement plans, speakers

May 11, 2015
Chad Woods will be the keynote speaker at the Baccalaureate Service on May 15 at 7 p.m. in Morris Chapel. Jere Drummond ('57) will address the Class of 2015 at Commencement on May 16 at 9:30 a.m. on the chapel lawn. (In case of rain, Commencement will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Huffman Athletic Center.)
