With the first semester behind us, I reflect on all the academic, athletic, and arts success our students have achieved this year.
Darlington students are receiving acceptance letters and scholarships from all over the country. Student-athletes are being recognized with All-Region and All-County selections, and four have already signed their letter of intent to compete at the college level. Our yearbook, The Jabberwokk, was recognized as best in the state by the Georgia Scholastic Press Association.
Darlington students are doing exceptional things. The combination of teachers empowering students to learn with passion and students pushing themselves will always lead to success. We look forward to continuing this great work in the second semester and, as always, we thank you for your partnership and support.
I hope everyone finds some rest and time with family over the break. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone in the Darlington Community.
