Ethan (’16) returned to Darlington in 2022 as the communication arts teacher. His connection to the school runs deep—as a student, he served as editor-in-chief of all three student publications: the Jabberwokk yearbook, the Darlingtonian student newspaper, and the Inkslinger literary magazine. After Darlington, Ethan earned a B.A. in Political Science, a B.A. in Spanish, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia. He worked in political communications before returning to his alma mater to teach. As a publications adviser, Ethan’s students have received statewide and national recognition for their work. He holds Certified Journalism Educator status from the Journalism Education Association (JEA) and serves on the Advisory Council for the Georgia Scholastic Press Association (GSPA).
