Brent Bell LD'14

Head of School

Brent was named Darlington's 11th head of school in 2014. With two decades of experience in education, he holds a B.A. in History from the University of Richmond and an M.S. in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to his work here, Brent was head of Upper School at Randolph School in Huntsville, Ala. He also served previously as assistant headmaster and dean of academic affairs at Woodberry Forest School in Woodberry Forest, Va., where he held the E. Craig Wall Family Mastership. He and his wife, Andrea, have three children, Charlie ('22), Jack ('24) and Brent ('26).

School Store Associate

The School Store Associate is responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that focuses on positive customer experience for all students, faculty, alumni and other guests. This position will also support the Business Office with administrative and recordkeeping duties. Daily store operations include collecting payment for purchases and maintaining a clean and organized store. This position is approximately 21 hours per week, working 3 days per week during the course of the scheduled school year.

Web Developer

Darlington seeks a web developer, preferably with strong experience with full stack web development using Microsoft ASP.NET Core and SQL Server or similar. Darlington School is unique in that it develops its own in-house Web site and student information system which serves the critical day-to-day operations of the School. The position is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining existing and new information systems for the School, to include policies, systems, procedures, strategic plans, and special projects.
