In this episode, Head of School Brent Bell talks with David Harvey ('88) and Van Willis ('88) about their Darlington experience, their entrepreneurial career journeys, and their current venture, Veo Health, a personalized, physician-led holistic health program focused on preventive care, early disease detection, and continuous health.

Brent Bell was named Darlington's 11th head of school in 2014. With two decades of experience in education, he holds a B.A. in History from the University of Richmond and an M.S. in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University.

David Harvey ('88) is the CEO and co-founder of Veo Health, bringing 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He has founded/led five healthcare companies in privately held, P/E backed, and publicly traded entities, all focused on improving the consumer experience. As a seasoned cultural and product leader, David is dedicated to transforming the traditional “sick care” system into a proactive “well care” model centered on health optimization and disease prevention. He believes in helping people proactively build resilience against the root causes of illness, enabling people to live healthier, longer lives. Based in Atlanta, GA, David graduated from Auburn University and enjoys traveling, exercising, hiking, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Van Willis ('88) is the COO and co-founder of Veo Health, bringing over 25 years of experience in technology and healthcare solutions. He began his entrepreneurial journey in 1992 by co-founding CommCard Inc., which merged with Premiere Global Services in 1994. Van also co-founded MedicalMessaging.net in 2002, later acquired by athenahealth in 2008, and PREMEDEX in 2013, acquired by SCP Health in 2022. A native of Rome, GA, he holds a BBA in Business Management from Georgia State University. Based in Atlanta with his wife and three children, Van lives it up by enjoying family time, golfing and running.
