Our fifth-grade students had a blast using tangrams to design and build Halloween figures! They worked to arrange the seven geometric pieces into creative shapes like bats, vultures and cats. Students practiced visual-spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and perseverance as they rotated, flipped, and rearranged the tangram pieces to make their spooky creations come to life. It was a fun, hands-on way to connect math skills with the Halloween season!
