Fifth-grade students had the invaluable opportunity to visit the fire station as a culminating experience following a year-long fire safety education program facilitated by the dedicated fire educators of the Rome/Floyd County Fire Department.
During their visit, students gained a deeper understanding of the various resources and services available within our community to ensure the safety and well-being of all. The program not only provided crucial fire safety knowledge but also highlighted the commitment and care of our local fire department in protecting and supporting the community.
They also got to meet K9 Deputy Doc from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.
