Pre-K teacher Beth Smith ('87, LD '12) was recognized as the Rome Floyd Chamber's September SuperStar Teacher! This award is presented by Atrium Health Floyd and was sponsored this month by GMC Value Mart.
The Rome Floyd Chamber's SuperStar Teacher program recognizes pre-K through 12th-grade teachers in Rome and Floyd County who show excellence in leadership, creativity, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting. SuperStar Teachers are academically and culturally motivated and are civically active in their community. The teacher is nominated by a friend, colleague, community member, or Chamber member and is then selected by a committee.
