Thirteen members of the junior class were awarded the Georgia Certificate of Merit to recognize their academic achievements and placement in the top ten percent of their class. These students are among 13,000 juniors chosen to receive the award, and over 200,000 Georgians who have preceded them as Certificate of Merit winners over the award's 50-year history.
