Fourth-graders Graham Harris and George Bagley, accompanied by Graham's mother, Sonbol Shahid-Salles, teach fourth grade about their recent trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras 2026. They created a Canva presentation to share details about Carnival season, Fat Tuesday, parades, customs, etc., and then answered questions from curious peers. Students enjoyed seeing all the gear and beads that Graham and George collected from the parades, and everyone was able to try king cake and take home some real Mardi Gras beads!
