The Pre-K to 8 division recently held our annual book drive, collecting 2,642 books in a week. Our motto this year was "Give a book, change a life." After the book drive, many members of the service committee, parents, and teachers stayed after school and sorted, counted, boxed, and separated books. We celebrated our success and hard work with a pizza dinner. Last Friday, six middle school students helped to deliver the books to Main Elementary, The Davies Men's Shelter, Restoration Rome, South Rome Early Elementary Program and Anna K. Davie Elementary. We appreciate everyone's support this year! We believe this gift of reading will help many children in Rome.
