Darlington's two robotics teams finished ahead of 23 teams at the West Georgia regional event on Saturday. Our senior team took the Inspire Award for the entire region, earning top honors across all categories, including design, programming and outreach. Our rookie team was awarded the Innovate Award for the most clever and effective robot design. Together, the two teams were the winning alliance at the event, finishing first in tournament play. Both Darlington teams will compete against Georgia's top 36 teams at the FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship in Gainesville on Feb. 15.
