Middle Schoolers in Mrs. Lynn’s Intro to Engineering Class Inspire Little Engineers in PreK-2nd Grade

Middle school students in the Introduction to Engineering and Design course visited Darlington’s youngest learners in the cottages (grades PreK-2nd) to share their knowledge of the Engineering Design Process. The older students introduced the foundational steps—Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, and Improve—through interactive storytelling and hands-on design challenges. These activities allowed the younger students to engage in problem-solving and creativity while fostering meaningful connections with their older peers, bringing engineering concepts to life in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
