The Smith Smartie Pre-K class had a great day at Camp Smartie! We got shirts, provided by Jenny Burch (Benjen's mom), and made bags to hold all of our great projects. We made solar ovens to cook s'mores while we had a picnic by the lake. Our classroom was base camp and we had lots of fun with our activities! We made name banners, created name apples, went on an apple number hunt, searched for apples in the pond, created a Three Little Pigs puppet show, and counted campfire numbers. A lot of great activities for a wonderful day! Thank you to Mr. Kinney for taking us on a nature walk around the lake.
