Mr. Eberhart's algebra students designed an experiment to determine their speeds and then applied linear equations to calculate when and where they would intersect on a football field from various starting points. After completing their calculations, the students had the chance to test their math by physically running on the football field to see how accurately their predictions matched the actual results.
