With the help of Science Department Head Owen Kinney and Upper School science teacher Jaclyn Haynes, first-graders had the chance to become paleontologists. Each student received a “dinosaur egg,” containing a dinosaur fossil. The students used water, brushes and metal tools to chip away at the rocks until they found their own fossil.
