Chemistry Mole Project

Tuesday, February 15, 2022 | By Jaclyn Haynes | 2193 views

The Mole Project was an opportunity for students to demonstrate their understanding of chemical moles and dimensional analysis. A mole is a number used in chemistry to represent very large numbers of small things like atoms or molecules. A mole of anything contains 6.02 x 10^23 parts; similar to the way the word dozen represents 12 of anything. Students created examples with moles that pertained to real life with real life conversions and metrics. They then shared their original creations with their peers. All in all, this was a very fun project for the students and their creativity was unparalleled!
