Kindergarten students created pictures of reindeer in a winter wonderland. Students began this project with a lesson in drawing. The class identified which simple shapes make up the whole reindeer and were encouraged to draw them with these shapes in mind. Markers were used to color their reindeer. In the second lesson of this project, students learned about foreground and background, size and perspective as they created a winter landscape drawing for their reindeer using oil pastels and silver watercolor paint.
We hope you enjoy the videos posted in this gallery as each students share their favorite part of their project.
