The Deaton Darlings had the honor of having Alex's mom, Alison Childers, visit our classroom today. Mrs. Childers is a former Marine who served during the Iraq War. She shared lots of information with us about how hot it was, her responsibilities, and even showed us some of the food they ate in the desert. We are so grateful to have a real HERO visit our school!
