Voiceover artist, actor, singer/songwriter, and audio technician Chris Orbach visited Darlington as a part of the fine arts department's 21st Century Artist program. Orbach demonstrated different techniques with a portable audio recording system, shared advice and tricks of the trade, and even let some of the students read commercials as if they were in a recording booth.
The artist's visit was made possible by the Carla and Leonard Wood Faculty Professional Development Endowment Award, which was established to encourage and finance outside ventures and influences aimed at enhancing the learning experiences of the Darlington Community.
