Student-athletes recognized at Spring Sports Assembly

Outstanding athletes in baseball, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis and track and field were recognized at the Spring Sports Assembly on Monday, April 27, in Morris Chapel. 

Baseball:
Juniors Thomas Hargett and Cooper Norris, both of Rome, Ga., received the Most Valuable Performer Award. 
Junior Jackson Loy of Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award. 
Senior Braxton Stegall of Cedar Bluff, Ala., received the Academic Award.

Girls' Lacrosse:
Freshman Anna Berkley Parsons of Raleigh, N.C., and sophomore Veronika Rohde of Frankfurt, Germany, received the Most Valuable Performer Award.
Senior Heidi Holder of Rome, Ga., received the Pillar Award.
Freshman Jillian Loy of Rome, Ga., received the Academic Award. 

Boys' Lacrosse: 
Junior Stewart Grigsby of Rome, Ga., received the Most Valuable Performer Award.
Seniors Brysen Jones of Rome, Ga., and Crawford Pettit of Cartersville, Ga., received the Pillar Award.
Senior Jake Absher of Rockmart, Ga., received the Academic Award.

Girls' Soccer: 
Junior Cecilia Baggett of Rome, Ga., received the Most Valuable Performer Award.
Senior Zain Elkhatib of Rome, Ga., received the Pillar Award.
Senior Aryana Patel of White, Ga., received the Academic Award.

Boys' Soccer: 
Junior George Loveless of Rome, Ga., received the Most Valuable Performer Award.
Seniors Felipe Selle of Rome, Ga., and Ade Desalu of Atlanta, Ga., received the Pillar Award.
Senior Zach Kimani of Nairobi, Kenya, received the Academic Award.

Girls' Tennis:
Seniors Annie Beauchamp of Rome, Ga., and Olivia Lunsford of Columbus, Ga., received the Most Valuable Performer Award.
