Mallory Saville, a 15 year old 10th grader at Darlington School, was recently named a Miracle Child by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Mallory has a rare, recessive genetic disorder called ICF Syndrome. In 2023, she underwent a bone marrow transplant. She joins three other children earning the distinction of 2026 Miracle Child. Through their stories of strength and courage, they hope to inspire others to have hope and to fight and to support CHOA.
In a recent social media post, Mallory said “I was nominated and selected to be a Miracle Child. I will help raise money for the hospital that took care of me the past years. They chose me because of my story, my strength and courage fighting during and after my bone marrow transplant.”
