Let’s get to know Mily James, a three-year boarding student from Atlanta whose Senior Ventures project aims to reach every member of the student body and encourage them to get involved in the Darlington fine arts program.

Fun, encouraging, friendly
What's your favorite show to binge watch?
“Gossip Girl”
What's your favorite restaurant in Rome?
Chipotle
What house are you a member of?
Cooper
What are you involved in?
Arts Council president, Cooper House leader, theater, Model UN co-president, choir, Darlingtones, Tiger Tutor leader
If you are involved in fine arts, what is your favorite activity and why?
Choir because Mrs. Johnson is so awesome.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
The lake because it is very calming and nice to walk around.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Ms. Shores - a super-kind individual, very good teacher
Mrs. Johnson - a lovely soul who is very good at teaching choir
Mrs. Laliberte - a great role model, I love her so much
What’s your favorite thing about Darlington?
How much freedom we have throughout the day - it gives me a good sense of responsibility.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I've become a lot more confident socially.
What is your dream job?
Head of management for a medium-large IT company.
