Welcome to Episode 174 of The Darlington Podcast!
In this episode, Student Body President Atlas Kosedag talks with Upper School Learning Specialist Justin Bruce, Upper School science teacher Jaclyn Haynes, and senior Honor Council President Anna Nguyen about honor at Darlington, from our motto that says "Honor Above Everything," to how students and faculty strive to exhibit honor in everything they do, from the classroom to the athletic fields to the arts and more.
Justin Bruce has served as a learning specialist at the Upper School since 2016 and is also the registrar. He holds a B.S. in Collaborative Special Education from Auburn University, a Masters in Special Education Adaptive Curriculum from the University of West Georgia, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.
Jaclyn Haynes has served as Upper School chemistry and environmental science teacher since 2019. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Ga., and Master of Education in Educational Technology from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass. She has also completed graduate-level gifted coursework at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
