Manages a portfolio of The Darlington Fund personal solicitations with a goal of upgrading donors to higher levels of annual giving. Helps identify and build a pipeline of major gift donors for the school moving them from identification through solicitation.
Completes a determined number of major prospect visits per year.
Coordinates, implements, and tracks The Darlington Fund.
Conceptualizes and implements programs to maximize donors and dollars; manages area and division campaigns.
Manages all solicitations for The Darlington Fund from the following constituencies: Board of Trustees, parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty & staff, friends, and foundations.
Responsible for developing and evaluating The Darlington Fund and reporting the progress.
Documents solicitation progress through call reports and prepares follow-up materials as needed (proposals, letters, endowed fund updates, JJD Society, etc.).
Manages and staffs all Darlington Fund events, including phonathons, volunteer trainings, recognition, and stewardship.
Collaborates with the Communications and Advancement offices to create and prepare all Darlington Fund solicitation and promotion materials (letters, brochures, e-mail, magazine articles, website updates, pledge forms, postcards, social media posts etc.)
Partner with the Director of Stewardship to plan and execute all donor relations for The Darlington Fund which includes but is not limited to letters, calls, gifts, and events.
Recruits, trains and manages Darlington Fund volunteers, including parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty & staff, and students.
Partners with the Advancement Services Officer to oversee all Darlington Fund gift records, postings, and acknowledgements and monitor the generation of The Darlington Fund prospect lists.
Assigns selected Darlington Fund prospects to other gift officers or volunteers.
Manages the student volunteer group (Advancement Ambassadors) to support all aspects of advancement.
Stays abreast of Raiser's Edge and other in-house technology systems and works with Advancement Services Officer to ensure availability of accurate, appropriate computer support for program
Actively participate with other Advancement and Alumni Relations team members at special events, including but not limited to Purple Tie Tiger Tailgate, Alumni Weekend and Leadership Darlington.

Have strong computer skills, including high competency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Raiser’s Edge or Veracross.
Be willing to travel as required and to work evenings and weekends as necessary, including assisting with event setup and teardown.
Have a Bachelor’s degree (communications, nonprofit management, public relations, or related field)
