Last week, the Upper School advisories participated in a competition that involved creating a poster design in support of a Senior Ventures project by Seidy Pichardo. With her project, she intends to help reframe the school’s definition and understanding of service learning. One way she is planning to accomplish this is by hosting Pink Shirt Day, which is dedicated to raising awareness of bullying and encouraging self-love.
In collaboration with the fine arts theme of Art in 3D, the Student Arts Council is partnering with Seidy to support having a poster for her upcoming event. We have showcased many of our fine arts students this week as Designers and we know that there are many more among the Upper School student body. We want to see your work, so play along with this activity to come up with a poster design to help celebrate the Pink Shirt Day later this season.
