Welcome to Episode 139 of The Darlington Podcast! 

In this episode, Director of Alumni Relations Vicki Vincent chats with Jennie Wright ('99, LD '16) about her family legacy at Darlington, her experience as a boarding student and her career journey that led her to her current role as chief counsel for the United States House Committee on Science, Space and Technology. 

Vicki Vincent first joined the Advancement Office in 1995. Since then, she has held a variety of different roles including class agent officer and director of alumni relations. She is responsible for the development and management of alumni programs for Darlington, including the Alumni Council, the Class Agent Program and special events like Alumni Weekend.

Jennie Wright ('99, LD '16) was a four-year boarding student from Atlanta, Ga. At Darlington, she played tennis and was a cheerleader, tour guide, and resident assistant. After graduation, she earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Georgia, her juris doctorate from John Marshall Law School and master of laws from American University Washington College of Law. She has held a variety of roles in the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and currently serves as chief counsel for the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology.
