Hi, I am Isabella Spears. Throughout my senior year, I will focus on expanding, managing, and promoting the DarFarm, the school garden, which includes chickens, honey bees, raised beds, and a greenhouse. As DarFarm president, I have been working with the DarFarm for four years, and I am excited to develop and grow my passion for integrating life with nature.
My goal is to connect faculty and students of all ages at Darlington with the DarFarm and the outdoors. I will coordinate with the lower grades to promote learning about nature through creating hands-on activities and facilitating the continuation of pre-existing outdoor experiences. Another objective is to complete a variety of construction projects at the DarFarm that will expand the farm, create a better planting environment, and an enhanced chicken residence.
