In this episode, Dean of College Guidance Ivy Brewer talks with college advisors Jaclyn Haynes and Mike Hudson and seniors Jack Bell and Isla McLaughlin about the value of the College Guidance Program at Darlington and the recent College Fair.
Ivy Brewer has served as dean of college guidance since 2022. She has served as associate dean of college guidance since 2007 and holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia, an M.A. from Florida Gulf Coast University, and graduate certificate in college counseling from University of California Los Angeles Extension.
Jaclyn Haynes has served as Upper School chemistry and environmental science teacher since 2019. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Ga., and Master of Education in Educational Technology from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass.
Mike Hudson ('94, LD '18) has taught science at Darlington since 2008 and has coached both swimming and cross country. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Georgia Tech and an M.S. in Biology from the University of West Georgia.
