The varsity track and field team gave a strong performance at the GHSA State Track and Field Meet at Rome High School's Barron Stadium May 11-13. The boys' team finished the regular season as region champions, and the girls finished second place in the region. The boys' team placed sixth overall at the State Meet, with Gus Gammage ('23) earning a first place State Championship medal in shot put.
