Upper School boarding students Jolie Levy ('25) and Katherine Henning ('24) were selected to serve on the International Dyslexia Association (IDA)-GA 2023 Teen Board.

Jolie Levy ('25) was elected to serve as the board's president. She is a sophomore from Atlanta, Ga. who is a member of Cooper House. She is a member of the varsity cheerleading team.

"I wanted to get involved with the IDA-GA Teen Board because I wanted to help the students around me with dyslexia and bring comfort to their parents," said Levy.

Katherine Henning ('24) was selected as a member of the board. She is a junior from Atlanta, Ga. who is a member of Thornwood House. Henning is a member of varsity cheerleading and the varsity soccer team. She competed as a competition cheerleader at her former school. She also does community service work with the National Charity League of Atlanta.

"I am super excited about being elected to the IDA-GA Teen Board to help others like me navigate their way through the tough times of having dyslexia in school," said Henning. "I'm also excited to educate others about the gift of dyslexia and how it’s not just having trouble learning."
