Welcome to Episode 98 of The Darlington Podcast!
In this episode, Director of Theatre Shelley Daniel talks with Tommy Cowan ('24), J.R. Johnson ('24), Kimberly Johnston ('24), Orafiri Koko ('24), Annika Patel ('23), Seidy Pichardo ('24) and Kathryn Wilson ('24) about this year's production of "Lucky Stiff." They give listeners an inside glimpse into what the musical is about and what to look forward to this weekend, while sharing their favorite moments in the show and memories from rehearsals. Together, they share their takeaways about why student theatre is important and the life-skills they're gaining in the process.
Shelley Daniel who has served as theatre director since 2015, holds a B.A. in Communication and Theatre Arts from Mercer University, an M.F.A. in Theatre with an emphasis in performance from the University of Southern Mississippi, and an active K-12 Licensure in Theatre and Speech. She has directed and acted in numerous professional and collegiate theaters and has led acting workshops for students of all ages.
