The Wind Ensemble was fortunate to work with Dr. Duane Warfield, director of bands at Shorter University. Dr. Warfield listened to and rehearsed our band while providing several ideas on how to improve our current concert selections. Our Darlington musicians benefited greatly from having another set of ears critique their performance. Dr. Warfield provided more guidance and showed great care for the group. His experience not only includes university band conducting, but also leading bands at other private K-12 schools. We were thrilled to open our Zelle Fine Arts Building to another impressive, professional musician in the community. Thank you Dr. Warfield and best of luck to the Wind Ensemble as they head to Large Group Performance Evaluation next week!
