The following college scholarships were reported to the College Guidance Office between Jan. 7 and Feb. 1:
Nadirah Atolagbe has earned a $64,000 Academic Merit Scholarship from Mercer University. She is the daughter of Funmi and Rasheed Atolagbe of Mableton, Ga.
Eli Baldwin has earned a $40,000 University Scholarship and a $20,000 President's Scholar Award from the University of Chicago. He is the son of Cristy and Joseph Baldwin of Rome.
Son Le has earned a $60,000 Provost Scholarship Award from the University of San Francisco. He is the son of Hung Le and Thuy Doan of Cordova, Tenn.
Shannon Li has earned an $80,000 Distinguished Student Scholarship from Savannah College of Art & Design. He is the son of Ning Li and Linlin Zhao Zhengzhou, China.
Luke McDurmon has earned a $60,000 Ecce Quam Bonum Award from Sewanee: The University of the South. He is the son of Heather and Kelly McDurmon of Rome.
Patrick Shealy has earned a $64,000 University Scholarship and a $4,500 Summer Scholarship from Seton Hall University. He is the son of Dr. Jim and Maureen Shealy of Cartersville, Ga.
Knox Sirmans has earned an $84,000 Middlecourt Scholarship and a $24,000 H-SC Tiger Grant from Hampden-Sydney College, a $104,000 Ecce Quam Bonum Award from Sewanee: The University of the South, a $92,000 Bell Tower Scholarship from Furman University, and a $96,000 Old Main Scholarship from Wofford College. He is the son of Gwen and Matt Sirmans ('88, LD '13) of Rome.
Elle Smith has earned a $48,000 Merit Scholarship from College of Charleston. She is the daughter of Brenda and Wade Hoyt of Rome.
