Lauren Loy has joined the Darlington Community as assistant controller in the business office.
A native Roman, Loy has 17 years of experience in public accounting and is CPA certified, most recently serving as an accountant at Haynes and Moore, LLC, a Rome-based CPA firm.
“We are excited to have Lauren join the Business Office team,” said Beth Pollard, assistant head of school for business and operations. “Lauren’s experience as a certified public accountant will add tremendous value to our team.”
Loy holds a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Georgia and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Shorter College.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the Darlington Community!” said Loy. “My family fell in love with the entire Darlington experience when our son started here last year and I’m excited to be a daily part of serving the families that make up this wonderful community.”
Loy is married to Shannon and they have three children: Jackson (rising fifth-grader), Jillian (rising third-grader), and Ansley (rising first-grader).
