This is the final report for SuperFan for 2016. Darlington Athletics has had a great year and with over 600 users of the app, the attendance at our sporting and fine arts events has been great this year. Thanks for all of you amazing SuperFans that have dedicated your time and cheering voices to supporting our amazing students in their athletic and fine arts competitions.
As of right now, Moser House is dominating with over 2,200 points, which is more than 1,000 points higher than the next best house. On January 1, the house points will be reset as we get geared up for RUMPUS. There will be a ton of events to check into over RUMPUS weekend, so if you really want to help your house out, make sure that you have an account and that your profile is associated with your house, graduation year, etc. SuperFan points are a quarter of the value of Centennial Cup points so make sure your house is getting credit for yours.
We have an amazing leaderboard headed by our mostly semester-long leaders Tim Garrett (on the adult side) and Jonathon Pieroni (on the student side). Tim has won the Darlington laptop bag on the awards page and Jonathon will be receiving a special prize as well. Don't forget that the adult with the most points at the end of the year receives a two-hour deep clean from Merry Maids. There are many other great prizes to redeem points for as well. Whatever points you use, are not removed from your leaderboard standing.
All of the leaders on our adult side are welcome to pick up their hand-made salsa at our Athletics Office in the Huffman Center. The students will receive their prize, a free dress day and Chick-fil-A lunch when we return from winter break.
The competition on both sides is pretty tight and with all the basketball games, wrestling matches, and swim meets in the upcoming weeks, it is literally anyone's game for the top spot. Don't forget that the boys and girls basketball teams are playing in Christmas tournaments over the break and there is a wrestling tournament on Saturday, Dec. 17. Make sure to keep doing an amazing job supporting our amazing students.
