Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in Darlington’s
Run With PRIDE 10K and 5K or the 1-Mile Competitive or Fun Run on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 8 a.m.
“We want the entire community to come together for this event,” said Stephanie (Smith) Walker (’83). “We’ve created challenging courses through Darlington’s beautiful campus and we hope you will join us. It’s going to be a great day!”
The 10K course will include a partial trail run and the 5K race will take place on Darlington’s own cross country course. There will also be a competitive 1-mile race for elementary-aged children as well as a 1-mile fun run around Silver Lake for children and adults of all ages.
Registration is $25 for the 10K, $20 for the 5K and $10 for the 1-Mile Run until Sept. 18, after which the entry fees will be $30 for the 10K, $25 for the 5K, and $15 for the 1-Mile Run. The registration link will be posted on this page soon.
Pre-registered participants may pick up race packets and numbers on Friday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Darlington’s Huffman Athletic Center. T-shirts and packets are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants.
