This July, Darlington School is partnering with Applerouth Tutoring Services to bring SAT Prep to our campus for students entering grades 8-12. The course, which takes place from 9 a.m. to noon on weekdays July 15-26, provides two weeks of intensive SAT prep and practice testing.
In an interactive group setting, participants will learn the major SAT concepts and strategies needed to master the exam. As a participant in the class, your child will receive the book, “The Fabulous Guide to the SAT,” to help simplify the studying process. Additionally, he or she will receive detailed mock test results that track improvement and enable Applerouth to tailor an instructional program to the strengths and weaknesses of the class.
For your convenience, we are offering an Extended Day add on to help working parents. If you choose this option, your child will spend the afternoon participating in fun activities like free swim, canoeing, games, sports, nature exploration and more! Late pick up is at 5:30 p.m., and you can rest easy knowing that your child is in a safe, fun environment. There is also an overnight boarding option if you are interested in taking a little trip while your child spends two weeks at Darlington preparing for the SAT.
