The two traveled to Haiti to visit with families there and see through the distribution of food, clothing and other supplies gathered by the Rome and Darlington communities. The goods were divided evenly into boxes and given to about 275 families. More than 1,000 victims of the devastating January earthquake benefited from the donations of individuals and businesses in Rome and Floyd County.
