For the second time in his career, Darlington Athletic Director Jerry Sharp was selected as Region 6AA Athletic Director of the Year by the schools in Region 6AA. He also received the Director of the Year Award for Georgia during the State Athletic Directors Conference at Georgia Southern University.
The award reads, “This recipient has dedicated much time and energy toward promoting a comprehensive athletic program for the student athletes in the state of Georgia. Your good work will help toward the betterment of all athletics throughout the state of Georgia.”
