Delightascope - Session 1

A 40-year-old tradition here in Rome and Floyd County, Camp Delightascope is a half-day summer camp experience designed specifically for the unique needs and interests of children ages 3-7.

Much more than day care, Delightascope combines age-appropriate academics and activities to create a fun, stimulating environment. This unique setting encourages campers to learn through exploration and discovery while feeling successful, relaxed, loved and happy!

Activities

Our program, which takes place in the Pre-K to 2 cottages at Thatcher Hall, provides the following developmentally appropriate activities for children led by Upper School student counselors:

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Math and Science
  • Music
  • Games and Activities
  • Story Time
  • Snack Time

Note: Children must be potty trained in order to attend.
