Darlington School reiterates educational values in our teams by implementing personal fitness and encouraging healthy competition during training. As such, student-athletes will learn positive traits such as teamwork, perseverance, and conflict resolution. Quitting is not a team concept, nor is it a trait that we want our student-athletes to practice. For that reason, any student-athlete who quits an athletic team, whether self-imposed or through dismissal for discipline/academic reasons, will not be eligible for tryouts, workouts, or practice with another team until their original team's season has been completed. This also includes any state competition. Questions should be directed to the Athletic Director. Special situations will be evaluated by the Athletic Director.
