Atha becomes all-time scoring leader for Lady Tigers

Darlington senior Anna Claire Atha helped lead the Lady Tigers to a victory over Cane Bay High School on Dec. 29, scoring 25 points in the final game of the Carolina Invitational basketball tournament. This game put her at 1,791 career points, surpassing the 1,774 points by Terar Stewart (’13) and earning Atha the status of all-time leading scorer for Darlington’s Lady Tigers.
Girls' track and field team edges Walker for 5th consecutive Area Championship

The girls' track and field team had a tight, back-and-forth battle with Walker, coming out on top by a score of 116-114 to secure their fifth consecutive area championship.
Darlington seniors Alex Cox and Terar Stewart have been nominated to receive the NAIA Champions of Character High School Award, which will be presented to two high school student-athletes from Rome and Floyd County who exemplify outstanding character values both on and off the field during the NAIA FCA/Chick-fil-A Champions of Character Luncheon on Dec. 11.
