Payton joined Darlington in 2021 as executive assistant to the head of school. In her role, she coordinates a wide range of projects and events, and serves as the logistical liaison with the Board of Trustees. With a strong background in human resources management, she brings valuable experience from several prominent organizations in the Rome area, including Harbin Clinic, Suhner Manufacturing and Candor USA. She earned her Bachelor of Human Environmental Sciences from The University of Alabama with a concentration in Events and Meetings Management, which provides her with a unique skill set in organizing and coordinating large-scale activities.
