This position is responsible for supervision of the children participating in the After-School Extended Day program from Pre-K through 8th grade. The candidate should assist in planning and carrying out activities such as group time, snack time, quiet play, outdoor time, and assisting children with homework.

The candidate should: 

• demonstrate the ability to set and maintain limits for children using positive reinforcement
• maintain a positive disposition, demeanor, and attire
• demonstrate flexibility 
• arrive on time
• work in harmony and cooperation with the staff
• treat all children with dignity and respect
• display a warm and friendly personality
• exhibit great communication skills
• assist in maintaining the necessary records involving attendance and sign in / out sheets

Requirements

• Must be available Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Must be 18 years or older

Other Information

• 10 month employee
• Non-exempt, hourly position
• Pays $15 per hour
