First-graders celebrated Read Across America Day with Dr. Seuss-inspired games and stories. The children came to school adorned in their best Dr. Seuss attire and participated in lots of fun activities. They stacked "Cat in the Hat" cups, bounced pencils into the "Pup in a Cup" (Hop on Pop) cups, built truffala trees, and balanced dice on a popsicle stick after "Ten Apples Up on Top."
