As part of their first science unit, second-graders learned about the steps of the scientific method and how to conduct an experiment. Using different types of cookies and a glass of milk, the students made predictions of the four types of cookies and created a hypothesis if the cookies would sink or float in the milk. After completing the experiments we enjoyed a yummy snack of cookies and milk!
